Naturopathic Doctor, Jaclyn Smith, is a valued addition to the Optihealth team. She is a dedicated general practitioner, and brings with her a strong background in women’s health, as well as a unique skill-set in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune disease.
Her special interest in autoimmunity began early on as she observed family members struggle with the development and management of such diseases. Later, Dr. Smith’s investment increased, as she too developed an autoimmune disease. Applying her knowledge of naturopathic medicine, she recovered fully and rapidly. Her success propelled her towards a deeper understanding of autoimmunity; and her story has since inspired her family, and patients alike, to pursue natural therapies in the treatment of these unnatural diseases.
Dr. Smith currently dedicates half of her time to running a family practice, and the other half to treating those with women’s health conditions and autoimmune diseases.
