Biography:
Sharon Kader started out her career as a Health Professional acquiring her Registered Nursing Degree (R.N.) and specializing in Reproductive Oncology and Women’s Reproductive Endocrinology.
Sharon pursued her interest in the health field and received an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa graduating Summa Cum Laude and winning the University of Ottawa’s Silver Medal Award for Psychology and Social Sciences. Sharon also received a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal winning an NSERC Graduate Scholarship. Sharon won numerous merit and academic scholarships including the University of Ottawa’s Dean’s Honors List Awards, Merit Scholarships and NSERC Undergraduate Summer Scholarships.
Sharon’s psychological associate services includes: Women’s Reproductive Transitions (PMS, Menopause, Midlife Crises), Men’s Transitions including Midlife Crises, Infertility, Post-Partum Issues, Coping with feeling Sad and Anxious, Relationships (Marital, Family and Workplace), coping with Post-Traumatic Stress, Living with Chronic illness (Cancer, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis), Stress and Lifestyle Management, Workplace Health & Wellness, Critical Incident Stress Management at the Workplace (CISM), Conflict Resolution and Mediation, and Employee Effectiveness.
Sharon is an experienced and dynamic speaker and workshop facilitator. Sharon has appeared as a guest on TV and has participated on numerous radio shows and seminars highlighting Individual, Family and Workplace Mental Health and Wellness Topics. Sharon conducts her Psychological Associate Practice and Trauma Consulting Practice in four locations in Ottawa.
